You are invited to visit the property and walk or drive on the unsold parcels. Please do not drive or walk on the sold parcels. The unsold parcels are shown on the plat that is available from a holder on the entrance sign. There is another identical entrance sign farther out Hobson Road at the entrance to Parcel 13.
From Charlotte:
North on I-77 to Exit 49-A, U.S.70 East in Statesville. Go toward Salisbury 10.6 miles to Town of Cleveland.
(There is a shorter "back way" via Amity Hill Road, but for your first visit to the area I-77 and U.S. 70 will be easier.) After the 10.6 miles turn left onto Main Street at the traffic light just past Freightliner plant on your left. Go seven 10ths of a mile on Main Street to the first caution light shortly after bridge across railroad track. Turn left onto Maple Street and go 3 tenths of a mile. Make the sharp right turn and go 1.8 miles on Third Creek Church Road (SR 1957) to a stop sign at the top of the hill. Turn right onto Foster Road (SR 1972) and go eight tenths of a mile. Turn right onto Hobson Road (SR 1971) and go seven tenths of a mile to the BPF sign at the entrance onto Bridle Path Farm Road. Stop and take a copy of the plat that is on the BPF sign. At that point you're on the new road between Parcel 1 on your right, and Parcel 12 on your left.
Each unsold parcel on the new road should have a parcel number showing, i.e., #8.
To get to the unsold parcel, #13, go back to the main entrance, turn right and go seven tenths of a
mile to the other entrance sign.
From Statesville go to Town of Cleveland on U.S. 70 and then follow same directions as above to get to the property.
From Salisbury
there are several choices. The two main ones are: Go out U.S. 70 to Town of Cleveland traveling west on U.S. 70. Turn right onto Main Street just before the Freightliner plant on your right. Then follow the same directions as above to get to the property.
Or if you already know the general area and are starting out from Salisbury, it may be shorter and faster to go through Woodleaf, NC. Turn left onto Woodleaf Road from Route 601 at the north end of Jake Alexander
Boulevard. Go 6.9 miles on Woodleaf Road. As you cross Route 801, Woodleaf Road becomes Cool Springs Road. Go 3.7 miles on Cool Springs Road, then turn left on Hobson Road very soon after passing Carson Road on your left. Go
nine tenths of a mile on Hobson Road and you will see the Bridle Path Farms sign on your left in front of parcel 13. Take a copy of the BPF plat from the holder on the sign. If you get adventurous and try to see much of
#13, you will need four wheel drive.
You are welcome to explore the parcel, at your own risk. But be careful, and again, a four wheel drive truck or SUV is needed.
Important Note: Parcel #13 home site can be gotten to with 4 wheel drive by bearing left down the hill and then up the hill to the cleared home site. But DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE DOWN THE NEXT HILL
BEYOND the #13 homesite. For your own safety and the safety of others, no deer hunting is permitted on the property.
The other entrance to the unsold parcel is seven tenths of a mile further west on Hobson
Road. You will see an identical sign where you turn left onto Bridle Path Farm Road. The unsold parcel is on the right side of the road where you see parcel # signs.
Walking in is the recommended way. A four wheel drive truck or SUV is needed if you go down the hill. Again, walking in is better. For your own safety and the safety of others, no deer hunting is permitted on the property.
From Hickory or Winston-Salem:
Use I-40, Exit number 162. From the exit ramp take U.S. 64 south-west toward Statesville. (That will be a left turn if you came from the direction of
Winston-Salem, or a right turn if you came from the direction of Hickory.) From the I-40 exit go 1.5 miles on U.S. 64 and turn left onto Woodleaf Road (SR 1003). (There is a sign for Keaton's Restaurant at that turn.) Go six
miles on that road. (The road name changes from Woodleaf to Cool Springs Road when you cross into Rowan County.) After the six miles turn right onto Foster Road (SR 1972). Go 1.9 miles and turn left onto Hobson Road (SR 1971).
Go nine tenths of a mile on Hobson Road and turn right onto Bridle Path Farm Road, which is new and therefore won't show up on Rowan County maps. Stop and take a copy of the plat from the holder on the BPF sign. Parcel 1 is on
your right, and Parcel 12 is on your left.
